Church History
Pastor Alberta Robinson began her ministry in the early 1960’s conducting prayer meetings in various homes. Through these meetings many souls were saved and baptized with the Holy Ghost. Soon she began holding services in a small storefront building that was given the name, “The Greenhouse” because it was painted green. She had a great compassion for the youth and caused many young people to come to know Christ. Not yet having a church of her own, she held some services in other small storefront buildings throughout the city, including places on Michigan Avenue, William, Northampton, Seneca and Clinton streets.

Everything didn’t always go easy for her. She suffered a lot of things throughout her ministry. She has been persecuted for taking a stand for holiness and fought against for preaching the gospel. She has faced opposition, been hated and even rejected for being a woman in the gospel. But through she suffered, yet she remained faithful to God, never changing.

Because each of the buildings she had held services in were owned by someone else, she prayed, and asked god to bless her with her own church. In 1976 it was prophesied to her by a well known evangelist during a revival at the Niagara Falls Convention Center that God, was going to bless her with a good church building and that many souls would be added to the church.

By faith, Pastor Robinson claimed a building she had seen on Fillmore Avenue and she, along with other believers had “A Jericho March” around the building. Just as God promised her The Building ,everything came to pass accordingly . In 1981, Pastor Robinson received, from the owners, the title and deed to the beautiful $60,000 building which was given to her from the church.

She is the pastor and founder of the Soul Saving Revival Center Inc.,now located at 664 Fillmore Avenue, Buffalo, New York.

Her vision is to continue to preach the gospel and to carry the word of god to the utmost parts of the world. to see the lame walk ,the dumb talk, the blind see, the deaf hear, the sick healed and even the dead raised by the power of God, and to provide a Deliverance Center for all the people of all races, nationalities and color.
